By bus: Residents can take a bus from any city in the country to the central bus station in Armenia. Once there, take one of the buses that leaves every ten minutes to the municipalities of Montenegro or Pueblo Tapao (both are approximately 10 minutes away from the Residence). After arriving at either of these locations, residents will be picked up by one of our staff members and taken to our facilities.

For transportation to Armenia, we recommend the bus companies Expreso Bolivariano and Expreso Palmira.

By car: To get to Residencia en la Tierra you first need to arrive in Montenegro, then follow the route out of town that leads to the “Parque del Café”. Once outside town you must look for the Baraya police station, where you should turn right and continue for 8 km until you reach the sign on the left hand side which reads: Finca La Sofía – Residencia en la Tierra.

By airplane: There are two international airports nearby: Armenia (30 minutes away) and Pereira (1 hour away).
