1. Exchange residents:
Artists whose work is considered pertinent to Residencia en la Tierra’s mission and who, in exchange for their stay, provide a benefit such as: an artistic workshop at the Residence facilities; an investigation which enriches the Residencia en la Tierra project conceptually; an artistic donation; a project involving the local community; or an environmental project.
How: The Residence is open all year round for artist-creators to submit their projects. The Residencia en la Tierra team will evaluate the projects and decide whether or not they are pertinent and viable. Once projects are approved, residents will have a set period of time to carry them out, which may vary from two weeks to three months depending on the requirements of each project.

2. Residents who want to develop an artwork or project:
Artists who wish to develop a project, individual or collective, and need a space to execute it.

Residents must pay their own expenses or obtain an allowance or a grant from a governmental or non-governmental academic institution to cover the costs associated to the development of the project at the Residence. Once projects have been evaluated, Residencia en la Tierra can advise and guide residents in regards to announcements, grants and allowances.
3. Residents who want to know more and get involved with the creative activities of Residencia en la Tierra:
We welcome individuals that have an affinity for art and culture who wish to observe the creative processes of other residents and exchange ideas and experiences with them. Another way to get involved is by participating in the workshops that are periodically offered at the Residencia en la Tierra
